Who Can Take Part?

You must be aged 16 years or older and be a UK resident.

You must be a parent (birth parent, adoptive parent, step-parent or foster parent) and have a child aged from 2 to 11 years of age.

You must have contact with your child (aged 2-11) for a minimum of at least 50 days each year (roughly once a week) and see your child enough to confidently report on their current level of anxiety.

You must consider yourself as an anxious person. This may be something you experienced before the COVID - 19 crisis or you may have noticed high levels of persistent anxiety in the period since March 2020.

You must be able to commit to completing two or three sets of questionnaires between now and Spring 2023. You will be asked to fill these in even if you are put into the control group and do not get the intervention. The research will not work unless we get lots of completed questionnaires, so we really need everyone to commit to this.

We ask that only one parent from each household takes part in the study to ensure we can reach the most families. However, when a parent receives a login to the course, they can invite another person to view a copy the content.
